Human cloning:

Human cloning is the creation of a genetically identical copy of a human being. The term is generally used to refer to artificial human cloning, comprising reproducing human tissues and cells. It does not refer to natural conception of identical twins. The possibility of human cloning has raised ethical controversies. These ethical dilemmas have led several countries to enact laws and regulations concerning human cloning and its legality.

Who accepts these findings in an experiment with human babies?

Alas, who you agree with cloning to obtain a baby. Some can even be parents who have lost a baby and want to replace it, or may be people who want children but do not succeed in the traditional way. For example, if a man can not produce sperm, you can make your own DNA is introduced into the egg of his partner, creating a clone of himself.

methods

Diagram of the process of somatic cell nuclear transfer
In somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT for its acronym in English) the nucleus of a somatic cell is removed from a donor and transplanted into a host egg whose own genetic material has been previously removed. After the genetic material of the donor somatic cell is transferred to the host oocyte with a micropipette, the genetic material of somatic cell fuses with the egg using a mild electric current. Once the two cells have been merged, the new cell can develop into a surrogate mother or artificialmente.13 This was the process that was successfully cloned Dolly the sheep (see the History section is present

Current and potential applications

Stem cell treatments
The studies and work on cloning techniques have advanced our basic understanding of developmental biology of humans. The observations of human pluripotent stem cells cultured offer greater understanding of the development of the human embryo, which otherwise can not be studied. Now scientists are able to define more accurately the early stages of human development.

Types of cloning

Cloning in nature: Cloning is a natural form of reproduction used by many forms of life for over 50 millennia by plants, fungi, and bacteria, this is how clonal colonies reproduce some examples of these organisms are blueberry, hazelnut, Pando , Kentucky Coffee, bayberry and American sweetgum

-molecular cloning: Molecular cloning is used in a wide variety of biological experiments and practical applications ranging from fingerprinting to protein production scale.
In practice, in order to amplify any sequence in a living organism, the cloned sequence must be linked to an origin of replication; It is a DNA sequence.

Cell Cloning: Cloning a cell is to form a group of them from one. In the case of single-celled organisms like bacteria and yeast, this process is very simple, and only requires the inoculation of the right products.

Cloning of organisms naturally: Cloning of an organism is to create a new body with the same genetic information from an existing cell. It is a method of asexual reproduction, where fertilization does not occur. Generally speaking, there is only one parent involved. This form of reproduction is common in organisms like amoebas and other unicellular, although most plants and fungi also reproduce asexually.
